Dear Mr. Walker,
I was given the first book in the Red Mountain Trilogy and couldn’t put it down. The characters and their stories grabbed me fast! I immediately ordered the other two and have devoured them. I am telling others about this series. I certainly would enjoy a #4 to continue the journey. Thank you for such amazing storytelling! I plan to read more of your works.
Truthfully, I’m not not what I’d call an avid reader, but I discovered you by accident in Amazon and glad I did. I loved reading your all four of your Red Mountain books, just finished An Unfinished Story, and looking forward to reading The Singing Trees next. Thank you for sharing your wonderful heart-felt stories.
I love your Red Mountain books . The characters are like my family . I feel like I am transported there with them when I read . I zone in & block everything else out when I read your books. I am waiting for more . I also could not put down The Unfinished Story, I read and cried. Such a great book . Could not wait & find out about “Orlando” It was more like watching a movie . Then it was over. Hope there is 2nd book to this . There is so many children in this world that are discarded & not loved & wanted . This book had a lot of good emotion Keep writing. I like your style !
Hi Boo,
I am really enjoying your novel Red Mountain! I use to live on a working cattle ranch in Petaluma, California and now that I am retired, I having been working and living in Sonoma, CA. I work at a winery part-time (Viansa) as a wine host. I was pleased to see how you described and incorporated, in your book, the different aspects of growing grapes, processing and creating wines. There are so many little nuances that go into this industry. I think, too, including the animals and their roles in the wine business resonated with me strongly.
Now on a completely other note, I have a question. Who is your artist on the front cover? I love that picture! I look forward to reading more of your work!
Thank you,
Kat
Discovering Boo Walker books has been great for me! Red Mountain and all the people involved keeps you constantly entertained. Can’t wait for more. I’m hooked!!
Loved the first two Red Mountain books and already ordered the 3rd and the prequel. Hope the series can continue for at least one more book that brings it all together.
Thank you for such beautiful books that are hard to put down.
I just finished An Unfinished Story, and absolutely loved it! I am not beginning on your other books, and plan to read them all. Also look forward to reading everything you publish in the future. So glad I found you, Boo!!!
Oh my gosh! I absolutely love Red Mountain, the eclectic mixture of its inhabitants, the way wine making was described. I have lived in Walla Walla and so I am somewhat familiar with that beautiful part of Washington State.
Otis and his jaunts at night, amazing Joan and her ways of guiding people, steady Brooks, Jake, Margot, all of the residents of Red Mountain. Every one of them is totally believable.
I am over half way through Red Mountain Rising and I am so torn — I don’t want the story to end but I want to find out what happens to my dear Red Mountain friends. I’m ordering the next book right now.
Just finished Red Mountain. I fell in love, closed between chapters and walked away or laid down still thinking about each character. I was moved. And I laughed and, certainly, cried. Each of the folks were so real, I want to meet them. Thank you. Now I need to get my hands on the next book.
Ditto on the next sequel on Brooks life now and Emilia and Jasper. Enjoyed the three books. My first on a Kindle. Could not put them down in a week. Also, did not like the crude sex scene between Abbly and Brooks.
I absolutely love your storytelling. It’s TrueType spiritual and real at the same time. I don’t often have such a clear image of the place I am reading about. I am a South African and I suppose my Cape wine land experiences help.
I really liked Red Mountain, and all the characters, including Otis’ winery and the descriptions of the wine-making process, and different wines: could almost taste them. At first I didn’t think I’d like the book because it introduced too many characters with each chapter, but it all came together nicely. I loved Margot’s character the most. The sex scenes, however, were a little crude, esp. between Abby and Brooks, and definitely written from a male perspective. I was impressed at the author’s depth of so many topics, and there was a feminine quality about certain things (his wife’s influence maybe?). I wish the ending had a little more sizzle than fizzle. It just ended abruptly and was a bit of a let down. Other than that, it was a great book! Is this a series?

You are so kind. Thank you, Lesa.
I am obsessed with the characters and want to follow them in the next novel. The novel has drama and comedy with a little suspense.
Thank you!

These books are so well written.
You know how to make a writer smile. Thank you so much.

Your note has made me so happy. Thanks for the smile.

Thanks for reading! Indeed my wife is my secret weapon. And yes, it’s a series. Books 2 and 3, and also the prequel are available.
Loved this series, but it is certainly not finished. What happens with Brooks? And Emilia & Jasper? How does Carly fare?
Thanks, so much, Pat. There are definitely more avenues to explore! We’ll see what the future holds.
